I downloaded this program and inpout some items, but ran of time to do a full test.

Two days later I opened up another database Invoicing program , and what did I get, but, the Free Hotel software tried to load. I tried a further program that of Genealogy program and once again the Free Hotel attempted to load up. So that my existing programs will run I have had to uninstall the free Hotel software.

As result I have not been able to test out your program for suitability.

Maybe you have a solution to my problem that would allow me to try it again.

The download worked fine. However, the software wouldn't install. I tried 3 times, twice from first download and a 3rd time from a fresh download.
I just made a spread sheet that does what I need, so, I no longer need your program.

I find the software fantastic, BUT am finding it difficult to comprehend.All i want to do is to be able to invoice a client, logging all payments,upfront payments and make sure that there are no double bookings for the rooms.

I tried to install the software and I've got the message that the installation was succesful. However when I tried to open the program, I it did not work. So, I can not give you any comment on the software, because I could never use it.
I have Windows Vista Home Premium. Maybe it's not written for this operating system.

The description of the product really appealed to me, as we live in Spain and it promised a platform in Spanish.
There was no Spanish, in fact all of the installation was in English and the set-up of the company was very complicated and did not work out fine. After filling in the country where the hotel was: Spain, the program came up with pesetas as currency, hey man the euro has been introduced about 9 years ago. Also after filling in the prices I got an error message about a decimal sign (or something like that); the program closed and I couldn't get it going again, all the time this decimal error appeared and the program never wanted to start anymore.
I uninstalled it.

I found it was easy to install and seams very easy to input data, the layout looks and feels good. But I have not been able to make seasonal price options as this is one of our needs. I have looked at the website and can not fine anything relating to this option. Does any body know if it is not included in the free software or only in the paid version.

The product is very flexible and in my opinion simple and easy customized.
The only problem I see until this moment, (I have not tested it hard yet)is that Greek Menu or elsewhere characters are not readable. I have explored the site for greek language by I see that greek language menu is not available.
Maybe this will be a problem.

Hi there!

I downloaded your software and i found it brilliant! For free software, it's really-really good for managing all the rooms and assets. Truth is i haven't had time yet to fully test it out but i'm working on it at some stage.

Now the only thing to be nagging at it would be that there COULD be possibility to change the menus into other languages. I'd be ready to transfer them to my language and develop an estonian language translation but huh...too much to look for..?

Anyway - keep up good work!

The software runs very slow and is buggy with lots of error messages. I am running on Visat and that may be the cause of some of the bugs. There is no help text and the program is not very intuitive.

This software would have been fine if there were not so many bugs. The amenities list did not work like it should. Part of the reservation detail window was not visible. Ended up uninstalling this and getting something else. Also, the tutorial was lacking. It guided you through setting up your rooms and then you were on your own to figure out how to really use the program.

Error Message

1. When in Frontdesk configuration, select roomtype displays error message 13; Type mismatch, clsroom type, fillList. Furthermore, it only shows standard (default).

2. When add room, the default rates created under room type rate does not show up instead one has to re-enter room rate. So, what is the purpose of room type rate?

Hotel Software

I was interested in the software as i run an accommodation booking agency. i downloaded two different free progems. One of them needed netfix which took ages to find the right version on the web, the other ultimately wanted to charge for the program in a round about way. If i remember your program may have been the one that was just to comlicated to download and install. In the end I deleted them and will try again another day.

FHS functional Happy Software

I downloaded the program only yesterday and had little time to try it out. So far it looks like a program that will easily serve all my needs and I am really happy I have found it. I need it for a small renting of five wooden cabins and it is something I could do with a spreadsheet but FHS looks nice and works so easy. Thank you

Haven`t had the software running long enough yet but on first starting it seems to do everything I want it to.
It has all of the functions I think you`d need and can`t think of anything else to add yet.

I thoght it was for free, anyhow, how much would it be to purchase the software?
Can potential customer check avaiability online? Can they do it through my web site? Would it be secure for customers to put their credit card details online?
Can I use the software to store records which I can then use foe say a newsletter or email shots/

IT`S ONLY FOR SMALL PROPERTIES!

It should be made clear that this is only for small properties (under 25 rooms). Once you reach that limit the software says you are limited in this version to 25 rooms. Should have been said in the description so I didn't waste my time. Other than that it looks fine.

Good software, bad fit

Although undoubtedly ideal for a larger operation, the software is too big and complex for a small B&B operation such as mine
